At Cowboy Chic Fashion, we want you to be as happy with your Western gear as a cowboy is with his favorite boots. If something ain’t quite right with your order, we’ll make it right faster than you can say “yeehaw!” Here’s our straightforward returns and exchanges policy.
1. The Basics
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of you receiving your order. All items must be:
- In original condition (unworn, unwashed, with tags attached)
- In original packaging
- Accompanied by your order confirmation or receipt
Non-Returnable Items:
For hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on hats (listed under “Hats”, “HATS”, “Men’s hats”, and “Women’s hats” in our menu) unless they arrive damaged or defective. All other Western apparel and accessories can be returned.
2. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Follow these steps smoother than a well-oiled saddle:
- Contact our posse at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order
- Provide your details (use the template below to make it easy)
- Wait for instructions – we’ll send you return shipping details within 2 business days
- Package your items securely and ship them back to us

3. Shipping Back Your Items
You’ll need to cover the return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error (like sending the wrong item). We recommend using a trackable shipping service – we can’t be responsible for items lost in transit.

4. Refund Information
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Your refund will go back to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable (unless the return is due to our error)
5. Exchanges
Want to swap for a different size or style? No problem! The process is the same as returns, just specify in your email that you’d like an exchange. We’ll ship your new item once we receive the original.
If the new item costs more, we’ll invoice you for the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
If your Western gear arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue. We’ll arrange a free return and send you a replacement faster than a mustang at full gallop!
International Returns
Since we ship worldwide (except Asia and some remote areas), please note:
- You’re responsible for any customs fees or import taxes on returned items
- International returns may take longer to process
- Refunds will be in USD and may vary slightly based on exchange rates
